Brake Drum
Brake Pad , Brake Lining or Brake Drum Brake is an essential part of hoist for safety. Brake pad is a round disc of carbon mixed material with high heat and wear resistance. Brake Drum is an important part to stop or slow down hoist during operation. When hoist is in operation, brake pad will be used and worn out through time due to friction since it is in contact with hoist moving parts. Brake pad must be timely or periodic checked and replaced when necessary. The replacing time depends on frequency of hoist usage by user. If user always operates hoist continuously, Brake Lining must be replaced more often. Normally, thickness of new brake pad should be at least 7.5 mm.
