If Swing Check Valve damages, this substance will reverse back and forth which possibly damages or shorten its life of the air pump. It is recommended to change Swing Check Valve once a year. Furthermore, it will secure the air pump or prolong its life if replace Swing Check Valve and Diaphragm Set at the same time.
