The brak-motors of HAB series result from coupling an asynchronous three-phase motors and an eletromagnetic D.C. brake unit. Due to their reliability and operating safety, as well as their quick braking time (connection & disconnection time = 5~8 milliseconds) they are suitable for a great variety of applications, as:

• Braking of load or the driving shaft.
• Braking of rotating masses to reduce any lost-time.
• Braking operations to increase the srt-up precision.
