Butterfly Valve KISTLER BFV Series The butterfly valve is a valve in the valve family called the Quarter-turn Valve (or a valve that can be broken one quarter of the circle). Is the valve tongue that is a circular metal plate connected to the valve stem. When the valve is closed The valve tongue is completely rotated to the position of the fluid flow.
